Youth initiative

Young people are not the future of this work. They are already doing it.

Habits formed young tend to stay. We give Rhode Island students the tools, mentorship, and stage to lead wellness in their own schools and neighborhoods.

For students

  • Start a wellness club at your school with help from a physician mentor.
  • Run a garden, cooking, or healthy-snack project with your classmates.
  • Volunteer at community events and earn service hours.
  • Lead a session and learn how to speak in front of a room.

For schools and youth groups

  • Guest workshops on food, sleep, stress, and movement.
  • Support for staff wellness alongside student programming.
  • Help connecting your cafeteria or garden to local farms.
  • Materials your teachers can reuse after we leave.
Teach a teenager to cook one good meal and you have changed a lot of Tuesdays.

Get started

Tell us about your school or club

Students, parents, teachers and youth group leaders are all welcome to reach out. Students under 18 should have a parent or guardian included.

We use what you send only to reply to you and to plan community programming.
